When I say Diet I do not mean one that is for a short period of time. I am talking about a lifestyle Diet. What are you going to eat every day to obtain your goal weight, your goal body and keep it? All the fad diets get fast results but you are damaging your body so bad. The Healthy Diet includes an abundance of whole plant-based foods and a lot less manufactured foods.
What are whole plant-based foods?
Just as it sounds it consists of foods from the earth that are whole. Examples are fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, herbs, nuts, and seeds. What it does not include are oils, pre-made packaged foods, fast foods. We traditional avoid or limit meat, fish, eggs, honey, milk, cheese, vitamins, and many other animal-based products.
Why are you going to eliminate animal-based products?
Well, animal-based products do not include the right combination of nutrients for the body to absorb and give us energy. Our bodies require fiber for digestion. They require 80% carbs for our energy needs. They are very high in saturated fat. When our bodies have too much-saturated fat it turns into a trans fat, which leads to heart disease and so much more.
Animals products do not include any carbohydrates or fiber. In addition, animal products contain way too much-saturated fat and protein. I know you are saying WAIT I thought I could not too much protein. Well, actually you can. America is one of the most unhealthy countries and the highest amount of overweight people.
How Do We know?
If you compare all the diets all around the world, you will notice that the only big difference is the meat and animal products intake. My favorite fun fact is that: Our meet that is products in America is not allowed to enter any other country because of the way we raise it and manufacture it. That’s a RED flag to me personally. What do you think about it?
Now let’s talk about fun foods, not scary foods.
LOL. All plant based products have the right combination of nutrients for your body to absorb perfectly. They have to right amounts of fiber, protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, vitamins, and so much more.
So what are your goals or guidelines for food intake?
Well here at HealthyFoodAdvices, we are creating all of our recipes to meet your nutrition goals to make it easier on you. But if you want to follow the plate method then you would fill your plate 50% with fruits and veggies, 25% with Legumes and 25% carbs.
Remember to include a rainbow of variety of fruits and vegetables. I would us with cation is to not eat unlimited nuts and seeds if you are trying to lose weight. Limit nuts and seeds to 1-2 servings. They are high in fat and you want your body to burn more carbohydrates.
